SWISSAM established Culinary Advisory Board

On the 14th of December 2016, SWISSAM Hospitality Business & Culinary Arts School held it’s first meeting of the new Culinary Advisory Board.

The board includes hospitality industry professionals with years of experience, well-known chefs and representatives of the Graduates Association Fund:

  • Hans E. Hiertner - Chief Executive Officer
  • Josef Fleissner - Head of SWISSAM Culinary Arts studies
  • Karl Jonas Grip - Chairman of the Culinary Advisory Board of SWISSAM and Head of Culinary Arts program at the Moscow campus
  • Matteo Guida - Chef at Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace St.Petersburg
  • Alexander Volobuev - Viking River Cruises
  • Dmitry Blinov - Chef at Duo Gastro Bar
  • Cyril Sukhachev - Brand-Chef at "Two Sticks" restaurant
  • Aleksander Mishin - Chef-instructor of SWISSAM Culinary Arts program.

The main purpose of the board has been established, is to assist SWISSAM Hospitality Business & Culinary Arts School management to build a successful strategy for, and plan long-term development of the Culinary Arts program. During the meeting, board members discussed a wide range of issues, including: the creation of a new and more direct SWISSAM culinary program; the development of internship opportunities for students of the Culinary Arts program in leading restaurants, not only in St. Petersburg, but all over the world; the beginning of ACF Culinary Program at SWISSAM Moscow campus in February 2017, and finally, plans to increase the amount of workstations in the school’s training kitchens.
