Start of Pastry & Baking module for culinary arts students

Students of ACF Culinary Arts Chef Education program launched a new module, Pastry & Baking, under the leadership of chef instructor Julia Bakova. Practical classes began with learning the basics of French pastries, without the knowledge of which it is impossible to become a pastry chef.

The students learned to cook tarts and tartlets from puff pastry. This module lets students learn in practice a high number of techniques. Practices in the kitchen are conducted in pairs or in groups and students learn how to efficiently use time and space to improve interaction with colleagues.

During the execution of tasks, Julia Bakova tells students important points, reminds them about theory, shows them techniques and shares her secrets of mastery.
