On May 16, 2017, Consulate General of the Republic of Cyprus in St Petersburg, Cyprus Organisation of Tourism and SWISSAM Hospitality Business School held the Cypriot Gastronic master-class for partners and guests. 

The tradition to organise Cypriot may receptions to promote cultural and historical traditions of Cyprus has been going on since 2016 when the first festival "Cyprus Days" has been held in St. Petersburg. This year organisers focused on Cypriot cuisine.

Charis Philippou, Chef of the Coral Beach Hotel did a master-class on Moussaka for the guests of the evening, as well as cooked famous Cypriot meat meze with the help of SWISSAM students of the Culinary arts program and Chef instructors. All of the products, including wines and famous Zivania, were brought from Cyprus specifically for the reception.

SWISSAM Students and Alumni of the Restaurant and Hotel Management program also participated in the organisation of the evening.
